Education took a virtual direction due to the pandemic. This created a learning gap bigger than we could have imagined. Many children were taught through a device, and those who received support services/special education services, were no longer able to access those services. Some children were able to flourish in the virtual education world, while others struggled emotionally and academically.

Exceptional Education
(Special Education)
Children who have special learning needs due to a disability receive Exceptional Student Education in the state of Florida - this may also be known as Special Educational Services. These educational services meet students individual learning and developmental needs. An individual learning plan (IEP/504/PSSP) is used to plan, deliver and monitor student development and progress.
